SOLUTIONS FOR DAO DO MOTIF AND PATTERN APPLICATION INTO DESIGNING OFFICE COSTUME IN 25-35 AGES

Abstract

Searching and supplement of ethnic minority patterns in order to contributes to preserving and promoting the national identity and make enriching the source of decorative materials for modern fashion collections. There have been some authors who have studied Dao Do costume but no one studied for use of Dao Do ethnic motifs in the design of female office dresses. Throughout studying to actual pattern on the brocade cloth of the Dao Do ethnic group, the author has planed designing to unified with the traditional style and combining to harmony with the modern style to create a feeling of youthful, generous and novelty.
