Abstract

This article presents the main results in the study of traction control system (TCS) during vehicle acceleration. Perform controller simulation using Matlab Simulink software combined with Carsim, thereby clarifying the assessment of factors affecting the system as well as evaluating the effectiveness of the system when accelerating and its importance of the system on present cars. Initial results show that, with some specific cases of evaluating the working of the TCS system, the parameters of engine torque and brake pressure have initially evaluated the effectiveness of the system. Through the research results, the article shows that when the vehicle is driven on the road with 2 different coefficients of traction, the vehicle has TCS, the side wheels running on the road have a normal coefficient of traction, so the coefficient of slip at the wheels is normal. This value is low and stable. As for the side wheels running on the road with a low coefficient of traction, the TCS system must intervene to control the brake force to control the coefficient of slip at the wheels, the value of the slip coefficient at the left wheels is determined. stability control is in the range of 0.02 – 0.1.
