RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF CLO3D FASHION DESIGN SOFTWARE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EVENING DRESS MODELS
Abstract
There are many design methods in fashion design, such as 2D design and direct design on mannequins. However, these methods require students to make experimental samples. Making this sample will cost money as well as time. To move towards sustainable fashion, limiting the discharge of excess raw materials into the environment and causing pollution, the application of technology in design is a problem many people are interested in. That is why the research and application of CLO3D software are being studied and used by garment enterprises or schools. This is because of its convenience, saving time and costs in making samples. In this article, we have researched and developed the process of designing and developing evening dresses using CLO3D software, evaluated its advantages, and compared them with traditional methods. In the software, users demonstrate the ability to test new ideas without having to create actual samples. This helps them explore and develop creative designs and ideas flexibly.
